2001 Opel Omega Executive from Germany - Comments

Left Front Turn Indicator mounted on trim behind front wheel loosened and became detached during routine automatic car wash. Dealer replaced without charge.

"Upgraded" 17" wheels on Executive make it prone to imperfections in the road at slow speeds. At high speeds they are smooth as silk.

Car is new. Everything works perfectly.

Excellent, "tight" German built car.

Am American and have owned and enjoyed several US high horsepower beasts, but none came close to the handling and continuous high speed velocity of this 3.2 liter 232 horse power machine. Sits tight on road at very high speeds (120 - 130) on the German autobahn, and the air conditioning still cranks out (my other cars would "get warmer" when working hard because the AC didn't work as well when the car was working hard).

I live in the Alps with plenty of snow. Anti Lock Brakes and Traction Control, coupled with good winter tires and sometimes chains are a must. The powerful Omega, with back wheel drive, can be a trick in slippery conditions.

I tow a 7 meter caravan (1750 KG unloaded) and the Omega takes this task in it's stride!

I am a Nigerian. I want to say that the Omega is one of the best cars I have ever driven, although its pads (side pads) come off easily, but it is a cool car.

Its body is a little soft, but it takes the hard Nigerian roads well.

We have an Opel 2.0i CD. I just want to say it is a cool car. I have clocked about 190km/h with her; it is so balanced and smooth.

I am an mechanical engineer and I work in Saudi Arabia.

I have OPEL OMEGA 2003, but I face a big problem with the agency here in Saudi Arabia. As the people here in the KSA do not know the Opel Omega splendor, also the agency, we are facing a problem in the maintenance of this splendor car, but my question is:

I am having a problem with the pipeline, which connects the fuel tank with a pump (HOSE), always broken in one of the following cases:

1. If the fuel tank was almost empty, this means increasing the pressure on the pipeline.

2. If the speed fixed and over 150 kilometers per hour, is the reason for that is a blockage in the pipeline delivery system fuel to the engine, or fuel pump is not functioning normally?
