I love it. I can't change it
- It's not so comfortable on highways.
- I have changed the rear brakes.
- The car is lovely in stability, acceleration related to other cars in this class.
- The petrol consumption is very low related to the 1.6 engine.
- The car's cabin is big enough to carry a lot.

Radiator leaks (Frequent)
Very slow acceleration (No solution)
Very High fuel consumption 8.5-9 Km/L (No solution)
The car is very beautiful (Deep black) and very comfortable, but I had a 1.6L Vectra 1990 before it and was noticeably faster & stronger, even this car looks like NEW and the previous owner was very light user for it!
I'm thinking of changing the motor to 2.0 L injection (?)
May any body advise what best 15" tires would be (Look & Performance)?

Great car for the money
Small oil leak at valve cover. No big deal.
Shock-absorbers are done for-most likely because of the very bad roads I traveled on.
Currently I have some trouble with the clutch.
Right side mirror cannot be adjusted from the inside.
Handles like a dream. Great steering.
Runs very well, low fuel consumption.
It didn't need any major maintainance service.
No rust what so ever.
Paint still looks like new (when washed)

They don't make cars like this anymore
New water-pump at 60000km.
New central locking motor in rear doors after 45000km.
New transmission fitted when when car at 1500km (covered by warranty).
It's a great car, that performs very well.
Its comfortable to drive long distance due to the high transmission ratio.
Seats are comfortable, and the car has a wide range of saftyfeatures like twin airbag, ABS, side impact protection and much more.

I drive a 1995 2.0 manual Vectra it & also cannot change it. It is very reliable & stable car on highways. I always maintain this car as I usually drive fast. I think it is one of the most safe & reliable family cars in its class.
