1995 Peugeot 206 XLD review from UK and Ireland
"A reliable and reassuring car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
C.V. joint needed replacing, at 72000 miles.
Currently having a few electrical problems: The rear lights keep fusing and the horn sometimes decides not to work.
Also, the clock has stopped displaying, so I suspect the fuse box.
General comments?
I am very pleased with the car's reliability so far.
It drives well and gives me confidence that it can take me on a long journey at relatively high-speed, without struggling, or developing any problems.
My partner is currently on her second Peugeot Diesel, a 306L.
Her previous car was a 206 Junior Diesel, which had 93000 miles when bought and 171000 when sold and the only problem the engine developed, was a blown head gasket - once!
Insurance, is Group 4, which would be cheap if I didn't live in Manchester, England!
