2011 Peugeot 207 Sportium 1.4 petrol from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Nice looking small hatch that does the job

Faults:

Basically nothing other than servicing and wear and tear parts. Clutch judders, but has not failed.

General Comments:

After my old 206 failed an MOT (it was 17 years old) I found this nice bright white 207, very sharp looking car. Been a good daily driver the last few years.

"Sportium" model is well equipped but is not sporty at all (barely has 75 bhp). The 1.4 is slow but will do you a solid 45 mpg.

The car has been reliable so far, I would say Peugeot finally improved general quality of materials in their cars after 2010.

Rear legroom is rather cramped, but up front is OK. Ride is smooth for a smaller car, quiet around town, little too much wind noise on the motorway however. Dash is very stylish in my opinion. Outside looks great also, 5 spoke traditional Peugeot alloy wheels look great and are easy to keep clean.

Nice alternative to a Fiesta or Focus or whatever, the 207 does not seem as popular as the old 206 was, but I would say it is a better car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
