1986 Plymouth Caravelle review from North America
"The most comfortable ride I have ever driven"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission blew at 90,000 kilometers.
Radiator hoses blew at 85,000 kilometers.
On-board computer malfunctioned at 123,000 kilometers.
General comments?
The car was a smooth ride.
It had great power for a old V8 engine.
I replaced the seats with plush seats from a Fifth Avenue and it made the car so much more comfortable.
The heater worked great. It blew "hot" air and in great volumes.
The fuel mileage was weak, but I'd expect that from any old car with an eight cylinder engine.
