I love this car! With the exhaust change, timing change
I average almost 53 miles per gallon! I hit this if I am nice. This has a 5 speed manual and some times I jump on it, and this 1.8L hauls! I still average 40+ MPG with the custom exhaust and timing adjustments. I have put almost nothing in this car since I owned it. Up till 2005 I drove 77 miles per day X5 days for work. Now I do 20 per day. Car does not smoke, shake rattle or roll.
It shakes a little at 105 MPH, after that it smooths out.
Was only able to hit 125 MPH then had to hit the brakes and down shift due to traffic. I know it will do 150 easy.
I love this car! I wished they made more, I'd buy a new one.
