1992 Plymouth Colt review from North America
"For the money I paid, the car has been well worth it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My only complaint would be the style of the car. Not the cutest, but, hey what do you want for 500? That and the seats could be a little more comfortable. Long drives can be a pain.
General comments?
I bought this car for 500 dollars with 110,000 on it. We replaced both axle bearings when we bought the car. Replaced brake pads and emergency brak pad. Did a quick tune up on the car, bought new tires and replaced the clutch. Total cost roughly 1000 bucks (mind you we did all the labor).
Since then I have put 7,000 on the car and we're still doing fine.
Small hole in exhaust system, but no leaks (yet). The is a considerable amount of rust on the roof, but we are sanding the car down, and repainting this weekend, so that should be good as new.
Gas mileage is great. 30 mpg. Takes 25 dollars to fill this baby up. Lasts for about 2 weeks depending on how I drive..
