1977 Plymouth Gran Fury 4 door 5.9 V8 from North America

Summary:

Unbelieveable

Faults:

This car is an excellent source of transportation. This is one of the roomiest vehicles I have ever owned.

The only thing wrong with the car is the alternator went bad the first day I owned it.

I would rate this car on a scale of 1 to 10... 11.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

My 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury Brougham was a fantastically reliable vehicle. Interior space was absolutely cavernous with a trunk that could easily hold as much as an SUV could today and maybe more. This was the best car I've ever owned!

I had a 1977 Fury for 3 years, it was in the top 3 best cars I've ever owned. It was an undercover police car with a 440 (7.4L) V8 and a A727 trans. I had it above 130 a few times, great pickup and very reliable. The only downside was the fuel economy. I eventually sold it to my cousin, he still has it. When I sold it, it had over 200,000 miles on it (I replaced the trans. around 180k). Two thumbs up.
