1936 Plymouth P-2 review from North America
"A real warm weather fun car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gas gauge doesn't work.
Two sets of tires since I've owned it.
Generator quit charging.
Right front wheel bearing failed.
Mechanical fuel pump was replaced with an electric one before I bought it, probably because of availability & vapor lock.
General comments?
This is a rumble seat convertible; lots of fun to drive if you're not in a hurry. It cruises at 52 m.p.h.
It is presently using 50 weight oil; I may switch to 60 weight soon.
