1995 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI review from North America
"A perfect balance between performance and luxury"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Just after I bought the car, the anti-lock brake and traction control light came on. I had a diagnostic scan run which revealed 2 trouble codes. The fault turned out to be a brake pressure modulator assembly, which would cost $900.00 dollars Canadian to replace plus labour.
Recently I just had the water-pump replaced after 270,000 kilometers.
The vibration damper pulley also had to be replaced a short time later.
General comments?
Overall the car is excellent.
Superb performance from the super-charged V6 motor.
Excellent fuel economy, 34 plus miles per gallon.
Very comfortable and supportive leather bucket seats. Great for long trips.
Instrument cluster is very well laid out along with driver controls.
