Rear turn signal shorted out once.
This car is 37 years old and still runs great.
They don't make em like this anymore.
Old cars are the easiest to repair.
This thing is a beast and it hauls.
Handling is a little weak, as with most gian cars from the 60's feels like it's floating around turns.
I own a 1967 of the same - the Bonneville is a beautiful car for long trips as well as the "saturday night cruise". I strongly recommend buying one if you enjoy large, comfortable cars - and mine gets better mileage than most SUV's - 18mpg!
I have a 65 and it will really move with the 389 tripower, it will toast rice rockets and sounds nice with the glass pacs, gets better gas mileage than my moms 2000 bonneville ssei with the supercharger, very reliable, never left me stranded anywhere.
A wonderful car to own. I have had my 66 Bonneville Convertible, 421 HO Tri-Power, 4 speed with Factory Air Conditioning for the last 12 years. This car is a dream on the open road. Would NEVER think of selling it runs better than any new car I've ever owned.
