Replaced weak coil spring on right front suspension.
This car is truly a muscle car. Nothing like the feeling of the back barrels "kicking in". The 4 speed Muncie transmission and Hurst shifter are real smooth.

Quick, Sleek and Unique
The only problem encountered with my car was worn hoses and brakes. General maintenancekeeps it running perfectly fine.
The only problem with this car at all is the automatic transmission is very weak and with a newer replacement makes an amazing difference. Unlike its sister car the Camaro the Pontiac Firebirds tend to have more power at the same engine levels, and much more lower end torque. They are also less known and so more unique because of that. Fun car and a true classic.
Pretty good bargain, got mine for the appraised value of $10,000 CAN with perfect paint/chrome and a running engine. Quick replacement or hoses myself and wipers cost about $200 CAN and it runs perfect. Pretty good deal.

The 1968 Firebird Convertible is one of the best, nicest, and fastest muscle cars to ever roll off the assembly line. Try driving an original 1968 Pontiac Firebird RAM AIR "400" Convertible. You will never want to drive anything else ever again especially after you have gotten it on the highway with the top down and hit 100 miles per hour or so. What an expierience!!! It is definately an awesome car to drive.
