1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 from Netherlands

Summary:

The second-best car money can buy if you're a Poncho lover, the 1973 Trans Am 455 SD is the best

Faults:

Exhaust needed to be replaced, I got a total stainless steel dual system now.

Battery went dead about a year ago.

Front suspension has been fixed.

Upholstery was renewed.

Car needs a paint job now.

General Comments:

It's my daily driver, and a real head-turner. Very fun to drive. Good performance, but bad gas millage.

Wouldn't sell it for the world!!

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a 1973 Formula 455. Bought in highschool as second owner. Have owned it for 25 years. Was my main vehicle for 15 years, now is retired and am restoring it. Absolutely a blast to drive. Gas mileage isn't great, as others note, but it makes up for it in driving experience. For a stock vehicle, (rebuilt to a tad better than stock with a few extra tweaks like ram air, electronic ignition, etc) it is pretty darn fast.

Best thing is it is easy to work on and keep running with basic home garage tools.

They just don't build 'em like this anymore.
