1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible 6.6 from North America

Summary:

Great

General Comments:

Bought this car after wanting one for years.

Rebuilt engine, trans, suspension and brakes. Body was already in fantastic shape.

Runs strong, and always brings a smile to my face when I bury the pedal.

1969 Pontiac GTO 400CI 6.6L from North America

Summary:

Best rice rocket eating car ever, Pontiacs are the best

Faults:

Normal wear on a 30 year old car.. front end bushing, needs some steering work, timing chain & gears, cap, points, rotor, plugs... little stuff.

General Comments:

Great car, smokes any little rice burner around, put the pedal to the floor, she downshifts, kicks you back into the seat and smokes the tires... Bye bye Honda...

Whoa - us GTO folks (some of us are only fans, unfortunately) understand how it is. But what you neglect to mention is that it doesn't take a legend like a GTO to beat a foreign car (like the, cough, Ferrari GTO) - just about anything American will do. Still, it must be fun to beat them by so many car lengths they have to bring binoculars to see you.
