1981 Pontiac LeMans 4 door sedan V8 from North America

Summary:

This is the best car I've ever had, and I've had a few

Faults:

Nothing really major has gone wrong, I just keep up on maintenance before it becomes a problem.

General Comments:

I am the second owner of the car. My grandfather bought the car brand new in 1981 and kept it in good graces until he sold it to me in mint condition. The car handles fairly well for a four door sedan. I find that the power plant could heve been upgraded. Maybe for the 267 cubic inch motor (V8) to maybe a 305 (V8). as for interior the model that I have is pretty basic. front bench seat, no tilt AM radio. But all in all not bad. I'm not sure if it came factory, but I have cruise control. Since I've bought the car, I've replaced the seats with Buckets from an 1985 Pontiac. The AM radio has been replaced with a 1200 watt stereo system. The steering wheel has been done away with in favor of a Grant Wheel. Plans for tilt steering are coming soon. All in all this is the best car I've ever owned and it will run like a top forever.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
