The automatic transmission had to be replaced 1200 kilometers after purchase.
The new automatic transmission only lasted 5000 kilometers.
The air-conditioning never worked properly even after numerous services.
The handling was always very poor.
The engine used a great deal of oil and fuel.
For such a huge engine this vehicle had no performance at all.
Leather seats are terribly uncomfortable and did not wear well.
This is the worst vehicle I have ever owned.
I was warned about American vehicles, I should have listened!
Extremely poor quality workmanship compared to the superior French Citroen.
Extremely poor service.
Extremely expensive parts.
Terrible handling even for a minivan!
Never again will I purchase an American vehicle!
I would have to agree. My vehicle has had the transmission replaced, tie rods (twice),Master Cylinder, brakes are atrocious (multiple replacements of many parts) and all this while under the 7-70 warranty. The only thing that hasn't been replaced at least once is the exhaust. Now it has such a history I don't think I could sell it if I had to.
Looking for a new car now (2003) and am getting serious about Chrylser vehicles-- I'd never own another Pontiac.
Poor workmanship- poor engineering--
The seats are nice, though.
STAY AWAY A LEAST A MILE FROM CHRYSLER!!! CHRYSLER ARE CRAPPPPP!
ASK ANYONE WHO HAS OWNED ONE!!
ASK ME!!!
If you want a trouble free machine then I would advise you to buy a Honda or a Toyota.
