2000 Quantum H4 1.6 from UK and Ireland

Summary:

A kit car of production quality

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

The car is both practical and stylish, giving the best of both worlds - open top motoring and hard top comfort/security. Even at motorway speeds the cabin remains free from too much wind buffeting.

The performance is good and the handling is up to the task. The ride is firm, but this is a sports car so you wouldn't really expect anything else. The car is comfortable on motorways.

It is classed as a 2+2 but realistically only small children would be able to ride in the back for anything other than short journeys.

1997 Quantum H4 i 1.8 16 valve from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Hard roof convertible for the cost of a family car - great

Faults:

The alarm is tempremental but this is a TEXALARM and not a standard fitment. The boot tends to get wet inside. The trim is not as good as it could be (the trim is all from Ford so there you go!)

General Comments:

Great to have the security of a hard roof but still have a practical convertible. It's bigger than the Suzuki, and a lot cheaper than the Mercedes - I don't know of any alternatives?
