1993 Quantum MKII 1.6 CVH from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Keeping the British End Up

Faults:

New fuse box needed (electrics awful).

All glass needed re-bonding to the GRP body.

General Comments:

A superbly cost effective sports car. As practical as a saloon car (huge boot), but with even better performance than an XR2 (the donor car).

It looks unique and is very cheap to insure. Can do 0-60 in 8secs and about 120mph using the standard 1.6 CVH from an XR2. Owners who have Turbo Charged their cars have claimed 140+mph.

Can be customised very easily. Mine has leather and a whole host of electric's, which when functioning correctly are fantastic!

It's really hard to fault this car in terms of performance. However, you must remember that it is a kit car.. so it takes patience and TLC to run smoothly.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
