If I was to have a 3-wheeled Reliant, then i'd convert it to 4-wheels, as they aren't ugly.

We've just been given one of these! It's lurking in our front garden now, along with a triumph spitfire and a classic mini. I think it might be converted to a Liege sometime in the future. I'm not holding my breath though, we've had the spitfire for 15 years and it hasn't moved.

I've owned a robin for 3years and is cheap as chips.£800 a year should cover it. It look's like a zebra, so I think it's one of a kind. I must be mad!!!

I'm thinking of buying a Rialto to get me "To & From" work 5 days a week approx 45 weeks per year, and an average of about 9 miles round trip. I had a Suzuki Bandit before an accident that has forced me to this decision! doe's anyone have any comments?

Go buy a Rialto mate then get a Portafold Caravan, you'll have the time of your life and Smile at the petrol bill. @55 mpg who wouldn't, had mine 5 years now, mates don't giggle any more because of the times I've jump started & helped with their "real cars". My other vehicles a 38 ton artic and i am a proffesional driver.

Spare parts are easy to obtain from "Walkers of Chester" tel 01244381777. ~ Any sheep need to comment?

Portafold and Rialto are still doing fine since my last mention in 2005.

My best fuel consumption figure coming back from Snowdon to Nottingham was 64 mpg. OK I took advantage of the odd lorry or two and kept in their slip stream, but hey that ain't bad..

My partner has a new Peugeot 107, they do 62 mpg with ease. I had to meet her in Sept at Witherslack 'lakes'... Now this was the first time for year's I've been "far" without my caravan fixed on to the Reliant. I filled up in Nott'm before the trip and did 382 miles before arriving home with my tank needle near 'E'. Base that on a 6 gall tank with some still in and I reckon the old gall did a bit over 70 mpg.. am still SMILIN././.

Well it's now 25 Feb 2010. I've still got my 87' Rialto and 70's Portafold. Both are doing very well thank you, and no problems thus far. Search out the Portafold UK site, and you'll see me and other folding caravan owner's. And we keep smilin!!!

I bought a Rialto 2 GLX estate in 2001, and got 13 miles per liter... I wanted to take back to USA, but not old enough, so I drove to Exeter from Northampton to buy a '76 Super Robin 850, which I have had at all kinds of car shows in California...

Everyone loves it. Now I'm back and have un-mothballed the Rialto, MOTd it with new brakes, front suspension, kingpin, shock, tyres, hoses, interior, tow bar, passive restraint seat belts, and all new paint, inside and out.

Its being shipped next week... only thing is, my E engine is no longer doing 13 miles per liter. Anyone know why? Supposedly it's been timed, and it loves to be shifted into top while whizzing down the motorway AFTER joining the existing traffic.

Stephen.
