1994 Renault 21 NEVADA 1.7 from Italy

Summary:

A real great family car

Faults:

Exhaust pipe broken in highway at about 60000 km.

Battery broken two times.

Air conditioning system need to be recharged every year.

Last seats with some noise.

Clock backlight broken at about 70000 km.

General Comments:

My 21 Nevada is a seven seats car, very rare suit for a station wagon.

No major problems.

The car is still with a good heath, no rust, engine still performing well.

If all the cars are like the 21 Nevada the car services will close.

The car is really great in all the ways.

It is very comfortable and easy to drive.

Even if you like to drive quick, this car will not disappoint you.

Also the original stereo sounds great, having a four speaker system, or a plus one, with two extra tweeters on the dash.

1994 Renault 21 TXi 2.0 from Venezuela

Summary:

A super-fast, super-reliable and good looking sedan

Faults:

Broken aluminum wheel.

Rear exhaust box replaced at 80.000 kms.

A/C compressor replaced under warranty six months after the car was purchased, since that time it never failed again.

General Comments:

One of the best cars I've ever owned, being a 94-95 car it has digital A/C which works perfectly), sun roof, good looking wheels, infrared remote and a powerful engine.

The engine is almost maintenance free, oil changes every 4000 kms and adjust valves lashes by myself.

Drives great in wet conditions and the leather upholstery is #1 in quality.

I'm not ready to buy another car so a complete service is going to be soon.
