1995 SAAB 9000 CDE review from North America

Digital read-out trip computer (clock, alarm, speed warning, etc.) needs to be replaced. While they are expensive from the dealership they can normally be had for a very reasonable price on Ebay.

A lot to write (in no particular order)...

Original sticker price was around $40,000 brand new.

210 horsepower 3.0 liter V6 makes a wonderful growl when accelerating!!! The engine is nice and quiet when cruising. Runs on 87+ octane unleaded gas. No need for premium gasoline!!!

I average almost 26 miles to the gallon which is pretty good considering I often drive with a heavy foot.

The heated and electrically adjusted seats (with memory for the driver) are incredibly comfortable. The Elmo leather covering them seems to last forever... My seats are near perfect and still have that great leather smell.

Harmon Kardon sound system is one of the best factory systems I have heard. 200 watts thru 8 speakers!!!

Standard electronic climate control systems works efficiently and quickly.

Real wood dash makes the interior look far more classy. Far more inviting.

Love the central (between the front seats) switch's for the windows, door locks, and sunroof.

Steering has a nice tight feeling to it.

For a heavy car the brakes do their job without any fuss.

Trunk holds nearly 19 cubic square feet of whatever you want. The trunk is huge!!!

Even tho my SAAB 9000CDE is 10 years old I cannot tell you how impressive it is. Everything works as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. There are no squeaks or rattles of any type. The 9000CDE is a solid car worth taking a look at!!!
