2003 Seat Cordoba SDI Stella 1.9 SDI from Slovenia

Summary:

Bad quality but excellent driving performance

Faults:

The hand brake handle almost fell apart. I've fixed it myself by pressing on a small tooth beneath the handle.

The ignition latch wasn't working properly. I had to turn/press a bit harder to get the motor started. Fixed under guarantee.

Remote unlocking was failing constantly, I thought that the battery was low, but there was something wrong with the computer. Fixed Under warranty.

Front left door was leaking, fixed under warranty.

Front left joint had to be replaced after 60000 km (37282 miles). Cost 350$

The transmission has a joint clearance at 90000 km (55 923 miles). Haven't fixed it yet.

General Comments:

I liked my old car Suzuki Baleno better.

The performance of the SDI engine is great though.

Steering wheel is a bit hard, but OK.

Cars scalability is great, there was a point where I thought I was going to fall out of a curve, but the Cordoba did excellent, she pulled me right out.

2003 Seat Cordoba Signo 1.2 petrol from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Great price for a great Car

Faults:

Intermittent wipers weren't working and the indicator didn't flash when using the remote central locking to lock the car. Both were fixed when brought back to the dealer and working fine now.

General Comments:

I got the black and it looks great. Great curves and chrome finish on the front grille looks great. If you're getting the black ask for the chrome kit as a free extra.

Only 1.2 64BHP, but you wouldn't think it for the power in her.

Great drive. Steering is great with DSR (Dynamic Steering Response)

Signo version is all electric (including rear windows). Alarm, Immobilizer, Remote Central Locking, Front Fog Lights (look great), Trip Computer (very handy).

Big glove compartment, compartment under drivers seat, wee compartment under the steering wheel.

Lovely interior and looks great. CD player and space for other equipment. 2 Airbags and the passenger one can be turned off.
