Faults:

Nothing so far, the car was bought used but it has full history and appears to have been looked after well, needing only wear and tear parts replaced.

Rear load cover broke, but I can easily find a replacement for cheap on eBay.

General Comments:

Black metallic Seat Leon estate. Very smart looking car with alloy wheels.

A bit boring but what's not to like? It's a fine car if all you want is practical reliable transport. Running costs are just the same as the smaller hatchback version but with more space!

A bit pricey on the used market, but they are worth it for a good one given how many unremarkable and unreliable cars there are out there in this age range.

The 1.4 TSi is probably the pick of the bunch for power and economy. Simpler than the diesels, but can still achieve 44 mpg + if you drive correctly.

Actually nice to drive. Handles well, rides a bit firm but not uncomfortable. Interior materials still feel good after ten years.

A fantastic car. Hope it proves reliable long term, I have only had it about a year and so far so good. But at 80K + miles I should expect some repairs, but I have heard these engines are good for 100K + easily if taken care of.
