2009 Skoda Fabia HPT 2 1.2 petrol from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Does the job

Faults:

I have replaced the front discs and pads. Wear and tear basically. No major problems. Suspension ball joints done at MOT and various mechanical parts replaced.

General Comments:

The Fabia is a reliable modern hatchback, I have had mine a few years and it has been very cheap to run. HPT "2" is a mid range car with a decent engine and spec. Well equipped.

1.2 is not fast. Will average about 47 mpg though with cheap insurance.

Inside is dull and basic, rather cramped if you are over 5'10. Boot is a joke, very small. I find myself using the back seats for storage.

Still, nice to drive and economical - does the job a modern hatchback is meant to do. Not much can be said about it, a simple little car that will appeal to first time buyers or if you are on a tight budget.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
