2021 Skoda Karoq TSi SE 1.0 petrol from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Boring

Faults:

Start / Stop system a bit hit and miss.

Minor electronic gremlins, nothing the dealer could not sort under warranty.

No major problems. The car is serviced on time.

General Comments:

A typical modern SUV - dull, but does the job. The Karoq is nothing special.

That said, it's easy to live with. Large, comfortable and economical, with all the safety features you expect from a modern car.

Quite decent looking in black with Skoda five spoke alloys.

Inside very comfortable. SE model is a nice spec. Apple "Car Play" and all modern connectivity is there if you need it, I am old school and never use these features. Give me a radio, electric windows and that's good enough for me.

OK to drive, does not feel heavy at all. But the 1.0 petrol engine struggles a bit, the 2.0 TDi is probably a better bet. But I am still managing 40 mpg or more from this car, OK for petrol.

Main dealer has been OK with us, despite a pricey initial purchase price. Warranty work and anything else was taken care of quickly and efficiently.

Hard to say anymore. It's not a bad car by any means, but nothing exciting.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
