2025 Subaru Outback from North America
Summary:
Hard to beat all it does with great safety and overall cost
Faults:
Nothing, but only have 5100 miles so far.
General Comments:
I bought this as a very practical vehicle to commute 200 miles to a weekend Pocono vacation home. Very versatile, can carry a lot of items when on a trip or shopping.
I ordered the 2025 Premium Model. Wrote a check for $31,700 out the door. It's full of options, less sunroof and leather which I did not want.
It's not fast, but delivers 30 plus mpg on the highway. Great handling with AWD.
I had to do a dealer exchange to get the very popular white color. Feel I got a great overall buy just weeks before the tariff.
Love the armored look of the cargo area, and floor and seats fold perfectly flat. You could easily sleep in the rear if you wished to take a break. Has a lot of usable cargo space and has the very cool outdoor appearance. I added Thule Jaylow aftermarket, fold flat, dual kayak racks pair, snowboard racks. A Class III hitch receiver can carry a few mountain bikes on the rear. Perfect pick for mountains and snow with AWD. Safety avoidance options.
Nice sound system.
The 2026 is supposed to be more boxy. The Outback body is actually patterned after a hiking boot. If you are looking for a very practical active outdoor lifestyle vehicle with a lot of bang per buck, this is it. I will post more when the mileage builds up. Enjoy your day.
