2001 Subaru Outback review from North America
"2001 Outback has some design and mechanical flaws"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch shutters and car hesitates when you first start using the car and then it improves after 3 minutes of driving.
The steering wheel shakes when the brakes are applied.
It burns oil.
The seats are not very comfortable for extended trips.
The wind noise can be very annoying.
The window design on the doors causes the glass to shake when you close the door.
Water pours in the window if it is cracked open when it is raining or if you use the wiper fluid with the window down.
The wiper blades wore out fast and the passenger side wiper fluid dispenser does not work properly.
