2001 Suzuki Swift 1.3 gas from North America

Summary:

Economy box good at what it is intended to do

Faults:

The carpet tore before I got the car.

The brake rotors are warped.

General Comments:

I am a large man, and the car is not comfortable.

The seats are not padded very well. They are not bolstered to hold you in, so you slide sideways.

The tires are horribly narrow, and hate hard turns.

The three speed automatic is very basic. The gearing of the car doesn't like to go over 65 miles per hour.

The car is for economy not fun. This is not a fun car.

The interior components are cheap plastic.

The engine is responsive. It is very willing considering it's small size.

The brake pedal feel is light.

2001 Suzuki Swift Cirrus GLS 1.0 from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Brilliant value for money car

Faults:

The carpet has worn easily.

Power steering is extremely light.

General Comments:

A very reliable car, it is my first car and I really like it. It does loads to the gallon and only take £25 to fill it up from empty. The bucket like seats are very comfy although there is a lack of room in the back. For a small engine it is brilliant performance, I left a Nova 1.2 for dead at the traffic lights. The downside is the interior is a dull grey and the clutch snatches a bit.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
