2003 Suzuki XL-7 2.7 petrol V6 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Good reliable vehicle

Faults:

The rear tailgate handle is thin black plastic which has broken twice.

A very poor design fault.

It has been replaced under warranty both time without hassle. The design fault was rectified on the new updated 2004 model with a stronger handle design.

No other noticable problems with this vehicle.

General Comments:

A great value for money vehicle that had no problems as an off road 4WD on Stradbroke Island. It has plenty of acceleration and handles well on and off the roads. There is ample room in the vehicle and plenty of air conditioning vents for front and rear passengers. The seating is adjustable and quite comfortable.

2003 Suzuki XL-7 Limited 6 Cylinder from North America

Summary:

Nice vehicle, good price and warranty, not much under the hood, not sorry we bought it.

Faults:

Heated seats never worked and the dealer needs to keep it overnight to fix.

Developed transmission leak at 6000 miles though covered under warranty.

General Comments:

The engine is undersized for the vehicle. Don't try to pass on a hill, or on level ground, or going downhill.

Nice features for a $21K vehicle (with rebate). Power everything. Leather. It's nice. Third row seating. You can't get into anything similar for under $30K.

2003 Suzuki XL-7 Limited (Leather) 2.7 from North America

Summary:

Quality at a bargain price, with flawless execution of our multifaceted lifestyle

Faults:

After over 20,000 miles the only unexpected service that we required was a frayed seat belt to be replaced under warranty.

General Comments:

This SUV is excellent! My wife and I were debating on whether to keep or not our Infiniti, but we both agreed that the XL-7 must stay. For a 7-seater the miles per gallon is pretty good. With a family of 5 and sometimes 6 this SUV meet the needs and supplies the complements for us!

I definitely recommend you test drive one if you're looking for a SUV or Minivan.

2003 Suzuki XL-7 LXIII 2.7 V6 from North America

Summary:

Great White Pearl Utility Vehicle

Faults:

None yet. Only 350 miles on the vehicle.

General Comments:

We bought a pearl white unit with 7 passenger seating. The fit and finish are very good and the tailgate makes for easy access. Seating is a little cramped in the 3rd row seat, but it does give you passenger carrying options.

The most amazing thing is that we were able to get this SUV (MSRP $22,499) for under $18,000!!! That was a steal since dealer invoice is around $21,000.

You did well with the price,

I paid £16,000 for my new xl7 2.7.auto back in 2003.
