I love it. I don't ever want to get out of it. I agree with above, the torque is amazing. I'm always up for a race in it. I have fun on the roads where I live in Wales.

I had a GTi 180 before this, and I've got to say that this is 100% better looking and goes a hell of a lot quicker, and the mpg is better in the VXR, didn't think it would be.

I was driving home from work one day and I caught up with a Saxo VTS, and obviously he saw me in his mirror and decided to put his foot down. I just had to laugh as it's a Saxo trying its best to leave a VXR behind LOL! So if you're a Saxo driver and you see a Corsa VXR in your rear view mirror, just move out of the way!

How does the Corsa compare with the Astra? I think the Corsa is better looking.

My Corsa VXR, has been run on Shell Optimax from the day I bought it. Where I live (Birmingham), we've got a lot of Hot Hatches about, and brilliant roads to have a play about on. I've raced Cupras, TypeRs 225s, R32s and even Astra VXRs.

The only one that has ever managed to stay up is the TypeR, R32s are just crap, Astras will pull on a straight, but can't hack a roundabout or a corner, and the 225s turbo must only work on a certain day, LOL.

My mate went on holiday and left me his Nurburg Astra for 2 weeks, I loved the look of it, and the sound. But after a while, the sound will annoy you, and so will the seats, and the grip is terrible.

My advice is get a Corsa VXR. You get brilliant grip, bucket seats, more space, it's better looking. Most importantly, you can turn the Traction Control off.

A couple of weeks, yes, see where you are in a couple of years with it!
