1990 Volkswagen GTI review from North America
"An efficient, yet sporty ride"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
From the start, rear window wiper and washer did not work.
Low speed fan did not work either.
Currently need to replace temperature gauge sensor (11 dollar part), which was causing the car to stall when cold started.
General comments?
This car is very quick for a 4 cylinder engine.
It looks very nice and handles extremely well.
I get 30 miles to the gallon. The interior is sparse, yet very efficient.
Aside from minor troubles, I have no complaints.
The engine is almost 100k, and still strong as an ox.
