1980 Volkswagen Scirocco GTi review from UK and Ireland
"The greatest VW ever built (except for maybe the Corrado VR6. Mmmmmmm)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch replaced due to normal wear.
Head gasket went at 74,000 miles.
Started jumping out of reverse gear at 79,000. Gearbox replaced.
General comments?
Great car!
Insurance a little high, but well worth it.
Handles like a dream.
Interior is a little cramped. Back seats VERY cramped for anyone except dwarfs and children!
