1973 Volkswagen Type II Camper review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Old van. Engine went on fire once, nearly lost the lot, but fixed in a car park on a Saturday morning with Haynes manual and a little guesswork, and it started first time!!!!!!!!!!!
Brakes cease every winter. Exhaust had to be replaced, used cheaper Beetle one, no problem.
General comments?
Great van, easy to repair, fun. Hard to drive as no top speed above 55.
