1980 Volvo 240 DL review from North America
"Maybe not like other Honda's"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission went painfully slowly
Ignition went painfully slowly.
Hole in radiator that only sometimes made a difference!
Brakes quite costly (only because someone put the wrong fluid in!)
Transmission slipped very frequently even when it seems to be working.
Things generally fell off of the car, like the bumpers.
All of the mechanical difficulties I had besides the brakes happened all at the same time!
General comments?
When I first began driving the car it was a zippy little thing! Quite refreshing.
Very gas efficient.
Way too expensive to repair!
I have heard Honda's of any other year are great. I don't think I am going to try finding out! I will stick with Volvo's from now on.
