2000 Volvo C70 GT CONV. review from UK and Ireland
"Comfortable cruiser"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alarm goes off without provocation.
Immobilizer management unit replaced at 62,000 miles.
General comments?
This car is very comfortable and the space for the rear two passengers is very good compared to that of the competition.
The dash and interior designs are looking rather dated now especially as those of the more recent Volvos are really excellent (despite what Ford's bosses may think).
After over two years of ownership the car's looks still grab me, especially with the 17" alloys.
This car must not be confused as being a sports car though. It handles like the modified estate car that I believe it is.
Biggest problem, for me, is that it only has 4 seats. So until Volvo or another offer a 5 seater convertible it is an XC90 for me next time.
