Timing chain stretch and guide wear.
CV halfshafts valve lifter noise when cold.
This is my third sentra I have owned. All of which have had timing chain problems. Other than that it's a perfect point A to point B ride. It has surprisingly good power for such a small engine and is easy to work on too!
I replaced the timing chain 3/6/01.found that it was stretched and the cheesy plastic guide was broken.
