Engine revs will not shut down (about a one sec delay) when accelerator is released causing difficult gear changing in the first three gears or when moving off up hill.
A good economical all purpose car. The vehicle is able to tow, can carry five small people and provides a good high driving position.
The terrios is slightly underpowered in city traffic, not much foot room (compared to the falcon) and has scary cornering ability.
Would like to know if anyone has had problems with the slow response of the accelerator. I think this is an issue, but convincing the dealer that it is, is a problem.
To campare a 4.1 litre falcon to a small town runabout like a daihatsu is not logical.
Same issue with over reving - dealer fobed it of as usual, don't notice or has improved after about a year could be a run in issue - agree is underpowered compared to my old falcon wagon but well costs less to run can tow - no significant issues so far.
