For sure. The fact the AC still worked after 20 years is a positive. The tire/wheel part I don’t really understand why that’s a criticism. Just order 2 x 2 tires of different sizes. Easy. His mother totaling the car after not maintaining the brakes is hardly Chrysler’s fault either.

I have a 1993 LeBaron LE 3.0 V6. For a 22 year old car, it not only drives nice, it looks nice too! No rust, interior like new, engine and tranny work fine... If a car is looked after it will work well for a long time!!! I also have the Big V8 pickup and SUV, but I love driving my LeBaron when the weather is nice.
