I own a 2014 Mirage. It's the best car that I have ever owned - 52 MPG highway. I drive 43 miles one way, all highway. Love the car - the critics are hypocrites. It rides nice, and I can get 65 miles per hour in 3rd gear merging onto a freeway - it has plenty of snap.

I disagree; the Mirage is a combination of Metro and Lexus, the best of both a true hybrid that wins in every category except speed and handling, but it does go fast enough to leave traffic and get speeding tickets, and the cornering is easily improved with an aftermarket rear sway bar.

The Mirage isn't meant to be a Lexus-fighter, and not everyone needs a Lexus.
Most people who are interested in the Mirage will be coming out of the well-used car market.
