That's not true. Volvo cars are still Volvo cars, made by the people who always made them. Perhaps the owners changed, but the design and build is a Volvo.
People talk about that Ford changed parts or else. Not true. Perhaps the idea of copying is not original, many companies do. Copy is not a false statement, but a form of admiration for the other companies.

Agreed, I liked them so much that I bought 2 of them, an S40 petrol saloon and a diesel V50 estate. Both nothing like the reliability of Volvo's of the past. Not bad cars, but far too expensive when they did go wrong.
