1984 Volvo 240 GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Every home should have one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Trouble free bar regular wear items ie. brake pads and exhaust.
General comments?
Very reliable car, comfortable cruiser, able to give you the feeling of never wanting another type of car, this one is my ninth Volvo.
Performance with the 230e motor is quite acceptable even by year 2000 standards.
Handling tends to bodyroll when cornering but always with the feeling of being in control.
Dash feels somewhat in your face due to its uprightedness, however this is something you get used to.
