1985 Alfa Romeo 33 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Alfa's are for people who are looking for something exciting to drive!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes died which required complete overhaul costing around $1000aud.
New battery in 2005.
General comments?
This car has been fantastic, nothing has gone wrong apart from the brakes, but you would expect to overhaul the brakes on a 23 year old car.
If you look after an alfa you should get years of trouble free motoring, but be prepared incase something does go wrong.
I paid more to get a pristine example and well it was worth it because nothing has gone wrong and everything works :)
Car needs new shockies all round.
The car drives fantastic and sounds fantastic like italian cars do! You don't need a big stupid exhaust system on an alfa to make it sound good, That special sound comes as standard from the factory from engineering excellence.
