2008 Mazda 5 Grand Touring review from North America
"Ranked top 10 on Car and Driver"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes wear out fast.
Wheels go out of balance fast.
General comments?
Great commuter, and rides and handles the same as the Mazda 6, which shares the same platform.
Lots of cargo space; just fold down the 2nd and 3rd row seats and you will have as much truck space as a Mercedes S-class.
The Grand Touring has 17 inch wheels, and all equipment standard. It has a sunroof and 6 speakers that come in clear.
Clear visibility and easy to drive. For a 4 cylinder it has a lot of power.
Not the best gas mileage; 21 in the city and 26 highway, however you can get 30 on the highway if you go less than 55.
Seats are not so comfortable with this kind of fabric they made for this car, but decent leg room.
