1982 Yugo 101 review from Serbia
"I call it FRANKYUGOSTeiN, because...well, the answer is obvious"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Never left me on the road.
Several minor problems over five years of excessive driving.
General comments?
903ccm petrol engine, a very reliable and solid unit.
Yugo's gearbox generally is very sensitive and if not dealt with care will break down after 5000km.ironically it was along with the engine the best thing in this car.
Rust
rust
rust
rust...it was and still is Achilles hill of all zastava vehicles. I sellotaped the halls in the bodywork. eventually the car ate itself.
It cost me 400 dollars.
Maintenance 200-over five years.
