1998 Chrysler Grand Voyager LE review from UK and Ireland
"A super luxury people carrier"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought the Grand Voyager, as a used approved car from a main dealer, to carry three kids, an au-pair, bikes and luggage, it's proved very useful.
I have only suffered a "dead" battery, vost £50 from dealer to replace.
No problems with this car upto 28000 miles. Runs and sounds beautiful.
General comments?
We have travelled across Europe a few times in the last year with no problems, and in great comfort, these are luxury people carriers.
Fuel consumption is typical of a 3.3 auto around 23mpg.
Transmission is smooth, cruise control excellent.
Still lots of tread on the original tyres. Drives well, only a little brake shudder when braking from 80mph down to say 20mph for motorway service areas.
