1984 AMC Grand Wagoneer review from North America

I have a problem with the transmission and I beleave it needs rebuilding.

I also have a leak from the motor, but I don't know where its comeing from it may be the oil pan gasket, I emptied the oil pan and I still have a small leak I really need help on this.

I just got the jeep last year and I was trying to work on it, but just havnt had the time, I think that I may haft to rebuild the motor cause I'm not getting the right kind of oil pressure. please help me on this I need all the info I can get.

I don't think the person that had it before me done any kind of mantinace to it when I got under the jeep it was really oily and had red clay mixed in with the oil and there were layers of that stuff on the front axle and everything else. and I also need to know what kind of transmission and transfer case is on there.

I think the body is in good condition despite the front fender being hit and I was thinking if it was possible to replace that fender and the driver side door, but like I said I don't know hardly nothing about that. the original paint was murune and now its painted green witch I don't like that color so I will repaint it blue and it doesn't have the woodgrain on it, but I wish it did cause I really love that look.

Overall I did test drive the jeep and I loved the way it handled the steering is perfect and even thought the transmission was going out the 360 had a lot of power, but I didn't really get to test the 4wd out since it was disabled somehow I beleave it was from neglect, but beleave me I have very big hopes for my jeep.
