1987 Holden Commodore VL SL review from Australia and New Zealand
"A high performance first car for $2200"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
2 Hydraulic Lifters were 'tapping' when purchased car, replacing those at the moment.
1 Fuel Injector is 'ticking', being replaced when lifters replaced...
A couple dents around front of car from where ex. owner backed into a 4WD with a towbar, repaired myself and re-sprayed front of car.
General comments?
This is a very good car, performs well on the road.
Am in the process of mod-ding the car, have installed a good stereo system incl. 12" carbon-fibre woofer, 2 6x9's in back, 2 6"s in the front, xplod headunit and 4 channel amp.
Interested in adding a turbo to the engine, if anyone can help me with any info or how-to's for this it would be VERY much appreciated. (cwaite@techie.com)
