1997 Proton Tiara GL review from Malaysia
"Very good"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My drive shaft damage at 110000 km.
Replace both. Spare parts a bit expensive.
General comments?
This is a "BIG" small car. With the 1.1 liter engine, it does give the power equal to the 1.3l engine of Proton Iswara. The engine is so reliable that until now at 250000 km no problems
encountered.
Handling is superb compared to any other small car I have drives.
Cabin is spacious compared to other small car.
Until now the power window, the radio/cassette playing still functioning well despite 5 years old car.
Its pity that Proton doesn't really give a good promotion on this car and I wonder why? This gave the resale value much much lower compared to any other small car.
