1994 Nissan Skyline GTS25 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Its about 80% of the price of a turbo - good value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
Engine Lacks bottom end torque, however it revs cleanly to 7000 RPM and really starts pulling at 5000 RPM when the variable valve timing engages its second phase. Basically the GTS25 lacks the GTS25T's turbocharger and its absence is noted in the low to mid rev range. Handing is excellent - well balanced and the car is very easy to control in both the dry and wet with easy to control oversteer being the default when things get a little out of shape (either when provoked or if seriously moving when cornering) It is very rewarding to drive on wet roads - big power slides - great fun!
