1993 Holden Commodore Executive Wagon review from Australia and New Zealand
"A practicle wagon and cheap to run"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioner and heater fan switch fault number 1 does not want to work and number 4 works sometimes.
Detent lock on gear shifter wore out and made it almost impossible to move out of park. (fixed).
Front brake disks warped (also replaced).
General comments?
It's a good all round daily driver.
It is fully optioned air cond, power front windows, alloy wheels (walkinshaw mags replaced the VN SS alloys), Sports dashboard. Central keyless door locking, cruise control. It can tow a trailer with ease. Very frugal for a largish 6 cylinder and very reliable. Transmission is not the smoothest out there, but it can take a fair bit of abuse. Its fairly quick and has a lot of low down torque.
